About DISCA DFW

Who is DISCA DFW?

The Drywall & Interior Systems Contractors Association of Dallas-Fort Worth (DISCA-DFW) contractor members are based out of the DFW Metroplex but do work throughout the State of Texas and the country. The Association was incorporated in January of 2002 with only seven contractor member firms. In July of 2002, associate members, who provide products and supplies to the drywall industry, were invited to join DISCA-DFW. Currently, there are 12 contractor members and 15 associate members.

DISCA members have a strong sense of community within the DFW area and the industry. They work together committees and on the board to provide the members with up-to-date information and educational programs. Members range in size from the smallest local companies to some of Texas' largest drywall companies - and all are concerned about improving their bottom lines and receiving prompt pay for work properly performed.

DISCA is unlike any other organization you may know about or belong to:
  • No where else will you find others so willing to stand up for drywall contractor rights.
  • No where else can you get so much timely, authoritive information.
  • No where else can you come face-to-face with so many people who are working to change today's drywall industry.

What is DISCA DFW?

Networking
Meeting individuals that are in the same industry as you are can lead to new and innovative ways to solve problems you face today or in the future. DISCA gives contractors the opportunity to meeting other contractors as well as the companies and individuals from companies that can supply the quality goods and services contractors need to make their business run efficiently. For suppliers, this is an excellent way to meet the contractors that need what they have to offer.

Education
Only DISCA offers educational programs throughout the year that are specifically geared to this industry. Contractors who attend these meetings keep up with current laws and learn the latest techniques to keep their businesses successful. The educational programs that are offered are developed from member input - ensuring that you will get what you need most.

Activities
In addition to educational programs, DISCA-DFW offers several events throughout the year that enable you to invite clients, staff, and family members to and enjoy! These events include the annual DISCA-DFW Golf Tournament and Christmas Party.

Industry Relations
Only DISCA can provide you with the opportunity to make the changes in the drywall industry that are needed to allow the industry to prosper and to help foster the working relationship between drywall contractors to be a united front.
